    humm my rear sway bar come off with my first lift, and got a sticker at real places that do inspections... I've had no sway bars on blue for over 5 years.. Still gets a sticker... Not always a real sticker place.. If ya know what i mean...

    Removing the rear only would be ok... Always keep the front... Don't be like me.... Using bar bin eliminators could work as well....... And how could the cop see your lack of sway bar ???

    I am sure that BigDog and BigBigDog (his dad) will figure it out. We are having our own bolt issues. TJ Marine just HAD TO go to Harbor Freight today to get an air hammer thingey to get the nuts/bolts off off the TJ so that he can put the back seat back into the TJ. I am telling all of you wives out there - the best way to ensure that the hubby will not go over budget is to take away all credit/debit cards and give him cash. That way, that is all he can spend! Admittedly, I am supportive of this endeavor - the TJ's backseat is taking up way too much space in the garage.

    Air hammer worked great. It took me long to remove the heat shield that was in the way of 2 of the nuts than it did to knock all 4 nuts off the crossmember.

    It's all good. All 4 drilled out and only 1 needed tapped. New shocks are on.
    92 YJ 4.0 5 speed
    6" total lift - 2" BDS Springs, 1" BDS Shackles and 3" body
    BDS Sway Bar Disconnects
    33x12.50 DC Mud Country
    Warn Front and Rear bumpers
    Smittybuilt XRC8 Winch

    01 XJ
    3" Rough Country Lift. 2" shackles and 1.5" front coil spacers
    Rough Country sway bar disconnects and Rough Country adjustable track bar
    31x10.50 BFG AT KO's on 15x8 American Racing Rims
